POinbox and LevelOps both turn customer purchase orders, including PDF, email, Excel, and related files, into Shopify draft orders for review. LevelOps has the Built for Shopify badge and names Plus price lists. POinbox starts free (5 successful drafts), then Starter, Growth, or Enterprise; it flags the gap between the PO price and the store price, and matches B2B companies and locations. Their LevelOps prices below are from 26 Sep 2026. Check their listing again before you pay them.

By the work, not the logo
Intake
Both accept a purchase order you already have, and both give you an address to forward mail to. In POinbox that address is in Settings. Upload still works when sales hands you a single file. Forward a thread with several PDFs, spreadsheets, or Word files, and each of those attachments opens as its own PO. A repeated PO number is flagged so you can see the revision next to the earlier copy.
Matching and B2B
Both match buyers into Shopify, including B2B companies and locations. Why that match matters. Confirm a line in POinbox and that buyer’s code is saved for that customer or company. Confirm the buyer and the sender is saved for the next email. LevelOps’ docs describe the same kind of correction memory.
Pricing
Both want Shopify to be the price, not the PDF. POinbox flags it when the PO and the store disagree. How POinbox handles that flag. LevelOps names Plus B2B price lists. POinbox does not select Plus price lists by name. If your contracted prices live only as Plus location price lists, confirm LevelOps against your setup.
Review
Neither product’s honest pitch is a silent paid order. POinbox flags uncertain lines before create. LevelOps describes a review state in their docs. Read a sample PO in whichever app you install. A demo file that matches perfectly will not show you the flag.
Proof and support
LevelOps has the Built for Shopify badge. POinbox does not. POinbox does not publish a support-language list. If a language is a requirement, check LevelOps’ listing.
Plans
POinbox starts Free (5 drafts lifetime), then $29/$79/mo. LevelOps has a small free allowance, then roughly $100–$250/mo. A Free-plan install is not “cheaper LevelOps.” A paid app is not automatically correct on your SKUs.
Who POinbox is for
You want to start on Free. You care that price differences are called out. You sell on Shopify and can spend an afternoon on real POs. The forwarding address is already in Settings. Product page.
Who LevelOps is for
You want the category’s current proof, Built for Shopify, named Plus price lists, and an integrations list you can read today. You are willing to pay after the free allowance if the live plan matches the work.
When LevelOps may be the better choice
Choose LevelOps, and skip POinbox for now, if any of these are requirements rather than nice-to-haves:
- You want the Built for Shopify badge as a buying rule.
- You need Plus B2B price lists named as a feature.
- You need the integrations or support languages on their current listing.
That is a fair outcome. The install button above is for the other case.
If you switch or add POinbox
There is no one-click migration. Export nothing magical. Take five real POs, including one with a bad SKU and one with a wrong price. Run them. Compare the company, the location, the flags, and the draft. Keep LevelOps until that test is boring.
Matrixify is a different job (CSV import): POinbox vs Matrixify.
A worksheet for the afternoon you compare them
Use the same three purchase orders in both apps. Write yes or no, not a vibe.
- Company correct without a search.
- Location correct when bill-to and ship-to differ.
- Known SKUs attached. Unknown SKUs flagged, not guessed.
- Catalog price on the draft. PO price visible as a difference, not silently applied.
- Quantity when the PDF says a case and you sell an each. POinbox converts case, pack, carton, and dozen from a saved mapping, or from the pack size or variant title. Set the mapping under Mappings.
- PO number on the draft. When the file has one, POinbox writes it to Shopify’s PO field, a po_number attribute, the draft note, and a po: tag.
- Whether you uploaded a file or forwarded mail to an address.
If LevelOps wins the worksheet, pay them. If POinbox wins the worksheet, install it. If they tie, the Built for Shopify badge is the tie-break, and that currently favors LevelOps. Check the live listings before you decide. They move.
What the prices are actually buying
POinbox starts on Free (5 drafts lifetime), then Starter $29/mo, Growth $79/mo, or Enterprise. That buys you a real test before you pick a monthly plan. A LevelOps plan after a small free allowance buys what they already publish: the badge, named Plus price lists, and a public review base. Their public prices sat roughly between $100 and $250 a month, with usage on top, and their site and the App Store did not always say the same thing. Quote their live listing in your notes, not this paragraph, when you take a number to finance.
Do not describe POinbox as “the cheap LevelOps.” Cheap is only true if the worksheet says it did the job. An app that misses locations is not cheap. It is a retype you also installed.
What switching does not include
No import of LevelOps corrections into POinbox. No shared inbox. No automatic replay of last month’s orders. You start from files again. Keep LevelOps connected until a week of real POs looks right. Their materials have named Dynamics, Katana, Odoo, and QuickBooks. POinbox does not connect to those. If you use them, stay with LevelOps while you need that connection.
A scanned PDF, a photo, or a handwritten PO is read in POinbox and opened for the same review as a digital file. Price flags and companies and locations are the two places a clean file still goes wrong. The alternatives overview is LevelOps alternatives.
Support, badge, and the thing reviews cannot see
Built for Shopify is a badge with Shopify’s own requirements behind it. LevelOps has it. POinbox does not. If that badge is how your company shortlists apps, the shortlist is one name long today. LevelOps also has a public review base, about 5.0 from 20. Read a few of those for the job you have: PDF in, draft out. Skip the generic praise. Then still run your files. A reviewer’s catalog is not yours.
POinbox does not publish support languages or hours on this page. If you need a specific language, check LevelOps’ help docs and stop if it is not there. Some teams stay with them for bilingual support. That is their documentation, so read it on the day you decide.
After the worksheet, write one sentence: which app you will use for the next twenty real purchase orders, and what would make you switch. “We will revisit if the test purchase order still looks right after a week” is a complete decision. “We will stay while the Built for Shopify badge is a buying rule here” is the other one.
Take the worksheet, not this page, into the buying conversation. The page is the map. The three POs are the evidence.
