Setup on Pro
Name it for the file: Résumé, Brand assets, Waiver.
The WordPress field type has to be a file upload, not a text URL the visitor pastes.
In Integration for Airtable, map the upload field to the Attachment column.
Use disposable files. Don’t put real customer data on an unsecured staging site.
The Airtable record should show inline attachments after create. Open Sync History for success or the attachment error line.
Limits to respect
- Airtable attachment limits and API constraints still apply.
- Very large files may fail. Set a reasonable max size on the form.
- Virus and malware scanning stays with your host and form plugin. Airtable is storage and collaboration.
- Staging tests should use disposable files unless that environment is secured.
