Someone downloading CSVs or digging through email for résumés is the usual failure mode. Airtable can hold Applied → Screen → Interview → Offer → Hired or Rejected, plus collaborators and an Interface for hiring managers.
What hiring teams need from the form
- Candidate identity: name, email, and phone
- Role applied for, as a single select or a linked Role record
- Résumé or portfolio upload
- Screening answers
- Timestamp and source, such as the careers page versus a LinkedIn landing page

Build the Applications table
Suggested fields: Candidate Name, Email, Role, Stage, Résumé (Attachment), Links, Notes, Rating, Owner, Applied At. Use a Role single select when you post several openings. Default Stage to Applied.
WordPress to Airtable capture
One form with a Role field, or one form per role. Either shape maps.
Connect the form with Integration for Airtable. Select a table, or click Create new table and create columns from the form fields; use Create new column in the mapper when needed. Each application creates one new Airtable record. Use Immediate or Background send depending on whether the careers thank-you page should wait on Airtable.
File uploads to Airtable attachments require Pro. Budget for that if résumés matter. See form uploads.
Submit a test application with a PDF and confirm Sync History and the Airtable row.

Publish the job board from Airtable
If open roles already live in Airtable, import them to WordPress posts or a Job custom post type on Pro instead of maintaining two lists. The public Apply button still creates a new candidate record in the same base on every submit.
